  1. Looks like a ghastly palm to me – Yuk!

    1. I’ve never heard of the ‘ghastly’ variety, lol. The palm had just been trimmed and go figure – I saw something to snap, lol!

  2. Not only you have done a great picture, you added a pretty poem, too. Love this!

    1. How does the saying go… I’m a poet and don’t know it. Hubby helped, two heads are better than one! Glad you liked the pic!

  3. That tree looks kinds creepy to me…looks like it belongs in a horror movie! Can’t stand things staring at me lol

    1. Guess I’m on a horror film kick – I’ll move along, lol. If you move the eyes follow you!

  4. That’s really amazing ! I first thought it was on owl, but then I hadn’t seen the whole picture !

    1. Thank you for stopping by! glad you saw the owl. we should share cat tales one day, lol.

  5. The three eyed tree is very strange indeed, and it makes for a fun photo. I do see the owl . . . a three eyed owl.

    1. three eyes, all the better to see you!

  6. You are right. You have many wonderful pictures and I was looking at them a long time. It is so nice to see all details. You are really a good photograph and a poet too.

    1. Thank you for stopping by. Glad you enjoyed my pictures and lingered here a while.

  7. Wow, nice capture!!!

    1. why thank you Steve!

  8. There are even eyelashes too, creepy but fun.

    1. I noticed them too, weird but cool all in the same look!

  9. You have a great eye. This is really spooky. The spots look like human eyes.

    1. Thanks Clara! I always like having an eye open, lol.

  10. Those are really cool! Nature must have a reason for putting eyes in the trees, perhaps to let those of us know we are being watched.

    1. I think you are onto something here Steven!

  11. It does seem to have eyelashes, nice creepy palm.

  12. I like this – creative view-point. Well done. My wife went on a weekend native & environmental art work-shop on Manitoulin Island a few months ago. Some of the work revolved around similar concepts.

  13. Your wife must have come home with some wonderful images and inspirations! Thanks for your input on this photo!

  14. Excellent shot and lovely words to express it.

    1. Thanks Wayne – I had help with the poetry:)

  15. Very cool observation…seems like imprisoned creatures watching and waiting to be released.

    1. You have a way with words! I agree with what you see!
